BURNETT COUNTY ZONING ADMINISTRATION
BURNETT COUNTY GOVERNMENT CENTER
7410 County Road K, #102 Phone (715) 349-2138
Siren, Wisconsin 54872
July 3, 2003
Chuck and Joan Threet U
5420 14`h Avenue South
Minneapolis, MN 55417
Dear Mr. and Mrs. Threet:
In reviewing your Land Use/Building permit, an onsite inspection was done. This onsite
found the cabin setback at only 70 feet from the ordinary high water mark. Because this
structure is less than 75 feet, additions are limited to size and location. (See enclosed
Shoreland Development Guide- structures between 40 and 75 feet from ordinary high
water mark).
An addition to the side of your cabin could be allowed to a maximum of 144 square feet.
Mitigation would be required for issuance. This mitigation would require a shoreline
buffer restoration and removal of nonconforming accessory structures if present.
Please contact this office for additional questions or permit requirements.
Sincerely,
Jim Flanigan
Zoning Administrator
JF:mb
Enc.
