The basis for deeds in this area is the "Plat of Subdivision of the <br /> Northwest Quarter" of Section 28 executed in 1915 by Surveyor James <br /> Bailey. See Volume 3 of Plats, Page 13. No lot corners were found; <br /> it is possible that iron pipes were never set. <br /> 2. A North-South discrepancy of 14 to 20 feet exists between deeds and <br /> Wisconsin Department of Transportation right-of-way plat. Project <br /> Number 8560-4-21 last revised November 3, 1983.
