BURNETT COUNTY ZONING ADMINISTRATION
BURNETT COUNTY GOVERNMENT CENTER
7410 COUNTY ROAD K,#102 PHONE(715)349-2138
SIREN,WISCONSIN 54872
April 4, 2001
Kevin Karge
10511 State Road 70
Siren, WI 54872
Dear Mr. Karge:
00py
Enclosed is your Land Use permit for your storage garage.
On Tuesday, April 3, 2001 I stopped to verify the setback for your building to the Wood
River. I measured the setback at 145 feet to the closest portion.
While onsite I also measured from your current residence to the river, which was a
distance of only 216 feet. This would indicate that your residence lies within the 300-
foot shoreland area of the Wood River. Please be advised that any future additions or
placement of structures would require Land Use permits from our office.
As we discussed earlier the sanitary system serving this structure would unlikely meet
present code requirements. I have enclosed a Wisconsin Fund brochure for you to
review.
I noticed that you had roughed in some PVC pipe through the walls of your proposed
storage building. The pipe you used was a thin wall pipe and is not approved for interior
use. Schedule 40 pipe would be required. Again as we discussed earlier, plumbing of
this structure and a water pressure system will require a state sanitary permit.
Please contact our office should you have additional questions.
Sincerely,
Keith E. Stoner
Assistant Zoning Administrator
KES:mb
Enc.
