The owner,as defined in <br /> chapter 101.01(10),Wisconsin Statutes,is responsible for compliance with all code requirements. <br /> The following conditions shall be met during construction or installation and prior to occupancy or use: <br /> General Approval Conditions: <br /> • This system is to be constructed and located in accordance with the enclosed approved plans and with the <br /> "Mound Component Manual for Septic Tank Effluent for Private Onsite Wastewater Systems" SBD-10691-P <br /> (N.01/01)and the"Pressure Distribution Component Manual for Private Onsite Wastewater Treatment <br /> Systems" SBD-10706-P(N.01/O1). <br /> • In the event this soil absorption system or any of its component parts malfunctions so as to create a health <br /> hazard,the property owner must follow the contingency plan as described in the approved plans.In addition, <br /> the owner must insure that the operation,maintenance and monitoring duties as described in section VIII of <br /> the mound component manual are complied with.A copy of this information must be given to the owner upon <br /> completion of the project. <br /> Key Item(s) <br /> • A copy of this approval letter and index sheet shall be attached to plans that correspond with the copy on file <br /> with the Department. Changes to the approved plan must be submitted for review and approval. The proposed mound shall be constructed atop it. <br /> • Deep and thorough chisel plowing shall be done to the driveway area that will be underneath the mound to <br /> help break any compaction in that area.The county may,at their discretion,request verification that appropriate <br /> plowing is accomplished prior to sand or aggregate placement. <br />
