It appears that CSM Volume 3 , Page 98 was intended to <br /> represent that parcel of land described in Volume 265 of Deeds , <br /> Page 83 . <br /> The side lines of those parcels deeded in Volume 265, Page 83, <br /> Volume 526 , Page 591 , Volume 488, Page 42 and others are <br /> referenced to the east line of Section 25. Since 1855 and until <br /> the time of this survey, none of several surveyors that should <br /> have or could have relied on the east line of Section 25 have <br /> documented the east line in question well enough so that other <br /> surveyors could follow that work. This has resulted in a portion <br /> of section line that has essentially floated around. It is my <br /> opinion that there are several valid methods that could be <br /> employed to re-establish the east line of Section 25. The <br /> sidelines of the above referenced parcels are all supposed to be <br /> parallel to the east line of Section 25, which means that each <br /> different position for the section line would create different <br /> positions for those sidelines. <br /> Certified Survey Map Volume 3, Page 98 does not conform to Deed <br /> Volume 2659 Page 839 or to anything of record in the vicinity of <br /> the east line of Section 25.
