The Town should consider allowing for flexible site design(e.g., lot size)and allow <br /> clustering of building sites provided proposals are consistent with other provisions of the <br /> comprehensive plan. <br /> H 4. Siting new development within rural areas should be complimentary to the landscape with <br /> the intent to reduce impacts to natural vegetation,preserve quality farmland, and reduce <br /> woodland fragmentation. <br /> 4.3 Utilities and Community Facilities Goals and Objectives <br /> Goal 2: Consider the establishment of quality and accessible parks and recreational facilities. <br /> Objectives: <br /> B. Preserving rural character, forest resources, and outdoor recreational <br /> opportunities are primary concerns <br /> 5.2 Agricultural,Natural, and Cultural Resources Goals and Objectives <br /> Cultural Resources <br /> Goal 8: Preserve the Northwoods character as defined by scenic beauty, a variety of landscapes, <br /> undeveloped lands, forests,water resources,wildlife, farms,rural and small town atmosphere, <br /> buildings integrated with the landscape, and enjoyment of these surroundings. <br /> Objectives: <br /> C.
