- <br /> RESOLUTION # ' e j <br /> To: Honorable Members of the Burnett County Board of Supervisors <br /> RE: Rural Address/Fire Numbers <br /> The county board of supervisors of the county of Burnett does ordain as follows: <br /> WHEREAS, Burnett County adopted a formal rural numbering system for <br /> residents of all unincorporated areas of the county on November 12, 1986; and <br /> WHEREAS, Burnett County emergency services, such as ambulance, police and <br /> fire departments, have need to quickly identify residents' locations for emergency <br /> services; and <br /> WHEREAS, a grid mapping system has been developed and is maintained for the <br /> numbering system; and <br /> WHEREAS, the U.S. Postal Service uses the numbering system for area resident <br /> addresses; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Burnett County Surveyor/Land Information Office is equipped <br /> to provide addresses efficiently; <br /> WHEREAS, fees are paid by the land owner; <br /> NOW, THERFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the attached ordinance be <br /> adopted by Burnett County. <br /> Dated this day of , 2000 <br /> COUNTY OF BURNETT, STATE OF WISCONSIN <br /> BY: <br /> //)4/4 • " <br /> Mary S.
