Copies of those sections of existing ordinances adopted by the <br /> community which meet the requirements of Section 1910.3(a) <br /> and/or 1910.4(a) of the enclo°ed program regulations (Appen- <br /> dix C). <br /> X <br /> b. Where national building codes (BOCA, NBC,SSBC,UBC,etc.) <br /> or state building codes have been adopted locally, copies of the <br /> legislative measures adopting these codes should be submitted and <br /> not the codes themselves. /(,/O' a I PI' Cc_6k <br /> c. If building permits are already required for all construction, <br /> but local regulations do not contain specific recognition of flood <br /> hazards (as required in Section 1910.3(a)(2)-(4)and/or 1910.4(a) <br /> of the program regulations, Appendix C), then the Resolution in <br /> Appendix B-I and/or B-II may be adopted and submitted. In cases where the applicant has extraterritorial jurisdiction <br /> over the issuance of building permits outside its normal bound- <br /> aries, a full explanation of the extent and applicability of this <br /> Not Applicable <br /> authority must be included. <br /> II. A resolution containing, at a minimum, the information listed in <br /> the enclosed Sample Resolution (Appendix A). The items con- <br /> tained in the Resolution are taken from Section 1909.22 of the <br /> program regulations(Appendix C). X— _— <br /> III. Two copies of a base map of the community clearly delineating its <br /> corporate limits which can be reproduced for publication. The <br /> map should approximate to the extent possible the enclosed <br /> Sample Base Map(Appendix D). X <br /> N. A map of the entire area under the community's jurisdiction, <br /> identifying areas known to be subject to flooding and/or mudslide, <br /> and showing the names of rivers, bays, gulfs, lakes, and similar <br /> bodies of water.This may be a freehand drawing. X <br /> V. A copy of any studies or reports prepared by a Federal agency <br /> (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Geological Survey, Soil <br /> Conservation Service,etc.)containing flood and/or mudslide infor- <br /> mation about your community. A detailed study of the com- <br /> munity's flood hazard areas will be arranged by the Federal Insur- <br /> ance Administration at no cost to the community. However, to <br /> avoid duplication, please submit a copy of any available studies or <br /> reports. If a copy cannot be obtained, please provide information <br /> as to where we may locate a copy. If no formal report has been <br /> prepared, submit a brief summary of the community's history of <br /> flooding and/or mudslides, including if possible, the locations of <br /> any known high water marks and/or mudslide occurrences. X <br /> VI. A list of the incorporated communities within the applicant's <br /> boundaries if the application is made on behalf of a political sub- <br /> division containing one or more incorporated communities.Desig- <br /> nate those incorporated communities which are to be included <br /> under this application,if any.
