MINUTES OF BURNETT COUNTY <br /> BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT — July 12, 13, 1976 <br /> WEBSTER, WISCONSIN <br /> Members Present: L. Gregory Johnson, Axel Hansen, Leroy Sauerbrey, Russell <br /> Brede and Allen McKinley. <br /> Members Absent: None <br /> Meeting called to order by Chairman Johnson at 7:15 p.m. <br /> #97 — Donald Engstrom requests variance from 300 foot width to 200 foot width <br /> of parcel of five acres or more. The property has not been surveyed and <br /> the location of property line is in question. <br /> #98 — Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources requests variance to create <br /> 1600 acres water fowl area by damming Logging Creek. DNR representative <br /> presented environmental impact statement summary dated June 19, 1975 <br /> for a brief inspection by the Board. Question raised concerning survey <br /> corner markers and bench marks. <br /> #99 — Emily Prachar requests a variance in lake setback. Proposes to build_; <br /> house 24'x48' on penninsula of land having water on one side and marsh <br /> grass and swampland around the point and back side. <br /> #100— Lake 26 Resort requests variance in town road setback for construction <br /> of a 16'x24' addition to liquor bar. Variance is for 3 feet less than <br /> required from center of road to building. Road past resort serves four <br /> private summer cabins, where it dead ends. <br /> Minutes of June 7 meeting read and approved on motion by McKinley, seconded by <br /> Brede. <br /> Meeting recessed sothatCommittee could inspect property involved in appeals <br /> #97, 98, 99 and 100. <br /> Meeting reconvened after inspection of properties 7/13/76. <br /> #97 — Donald Engstrom — Motion by Brede, seconded by Hansen that variance be <br /> denied because of lack of a certified survey. 5 yes, 0 no. <br /> #98 — Wisconsin DNR — Action deferred until next meeting awaiting statement of <br /> action regarding preservation of survey corners and monuments. <br /> #99 — Emily Prachar — Motion by McKinley, seconded by Sauerbrey that variance be <br /> granted provided that a 75 foot setback be maintained from the lake side. 5 yes,Onc <br /> #100— Lake 26 Resort — Motion by McKinley, seconded by Brede that variance be <br /> granted. 5 yes, 0 no. <br /> Axel Hansen, Secretary <br /> cc:Zoning Office <br /> County Clerk <br /> Joe King, DNR <br /> Jack Donatell, DNR <br />
