When the person from your office came out to the <br /> site to measure the location of the deck for the shoreland setback requirement, I learned <br /> that I was significantly farther away from the OHWM than I had thought. His field notes <br /> indicated that he measured the distance from the new deck to the OHWM at.1.06feet. <br /> lop C .C. <br /> As a result, I am requesting that I be allowed to amend my application for the permit to <br /> allow me to slightly enlarge and extend the deck out from my house by approximately <br /> 12'/2 feet. I am enclosing two drawings of the proposed new deck configuration and also <br /> a new site drawing showing roughly how the new deck would sit in relationship to the <br /> shoreland. <br /> Based upon my understanding that the new deck that I originally proposed to build would <br /> have been approximate "feet from t e OHWM at its closest point, the new deck <br /> configuration would still be approximately 9 %x feet from the OHWM at its closest point. <br /> I am asking that my building perm be amended to allow this change in the plans for the <br /> new deck.
