Due to concerns regarding groundwater flooding and
drinking water quality we are requesting that the Glacial Lake Grantsburg Properties Master Plan be
opened for review.
Further, we are asking the NRB allow for local public meetings and request that the town has direct
involvement during any review process through an appointed resident or town supervisor to serve on
a review committee.
We also, request that the town be consulted regarding any revisions or amendments to management
practices as stated within The Wisconsin administrative Code Chapter NR 44.04(7)(b), prior to the
NRB approving management plans for department properties within or bordering the town.
We look forward to working together with the department in creating and maintaining public spaces
such as Fish Lake and Crex Meadows wildlife areas for all to enjoy, but we must always stay within
the bounds of not affecting private property in any physical way that negatively impacts property use,
property damage, property value, safety, and/or drinking water quality.
Thank you to the NRB members for serving and for considering are request.
C21/3 -1:7/
Tim Curtin Dutch Shultz Scott DeRocker
Chairman Supervisor Supervisor
