BURNETT COUNTY ZONING ADMINISTRATION
BURNETT COUNTY GOVERNMENT CENTER
7410 COUNTY ROAD K,#102 PHONE(715)349-2138
SIREN,WISCONSIN 54872
July 10, 2001
Dale and Paula Kissner Cop
7074 Lake Path
Inver Grove Heights, MN 55076
Dear Mr. And Mrs. Kissner:
Your shoreline buffer zone restoration project was inspected on July 6, 2001. Your
restoration was found to be in compliance with the plan and has been completed. ,
Plantings in the restoration have been completed. It is important to water the seeded area
and the area planted with woodland groundcovers until they are well-established. The
woodland groundcovers are sparse, because moving the viewing corridor created
additional buffer to be planted. Planting additional woodland groundcovers is
recommended, but not required. These could be transplanted from nearby woodland
areas.
Moving natives growing in the viewing corridor to the no-mow part of the buffer is fine,
although leaving these in place will help to stabilize the shoreline.
Thank you for your cooperation with the restoration. Burnett County's goal is to
preserve and maintain our natural water resources. This near shore vegetative buffer is
extremely important to our waters for natural scenic beauty and water quality.
Once again thank you for your cooperation and help in preserving and protecting our
water resources for present and future generations.
Sincerely,
.m
Ji Flanigan
Zoning Administrator .
JF:mb
cc: Land Conservation Department
