It appears the town road is planned to stay in the same location, if that's the case then Mr. Fish will need a variance to
do a garage addition towards the road.
Thanks,
Jason
From: Wagner Surveying-Coleen Thompson <coleen.wagnersurveying@gmail.com>
Sent: Wednesday, October 12, 2022 2:59 PM
To:Towne,Jason<jtowne@burnettcounty.org>
Cc: jeff@townofscottwi.org; Mark Krause<wagnersurveying@centurytel.net>;charlesfish0l@yahoo.com
Subject: Re: 29055 Brozie Rd
Please see attached map & description of Brozie Rd Ext
Thanks
On Wed, Oct 12, 2022 at 2:54 PM Towne, Jason<jtowne(Z burnettcounty.org> wrote:
Hi Jeff—Can I get something in writing that this is/was a private road in front of Mr. Fish's place at 29055
Brozie Rd?
Hi Mark—Do you have any maps showing the road in this area? Is the road moving to a different location?
CSM Vol. 9 Pg 142 shows the traveled centerline as being on Mr. Fish's parcel.
I see this road item mentioned in the Nov 8, 2021 Town of Scott meeting minutes.
https://townofscottwi.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/1 2/1 1-08-2 1-Monthly-Board-Meeting.pdf
The current asphalt centerline is about 40 ft from Mr. Fish's garage. A private road requires a 40 ft setback,
which is why no addition could be added to the garage going towards the road. If being converted to a Town
road (public road) then it would need to move south at least 35 ft to get Mr. Fish a 12 ft garage addition (town
road setback is 63 from the centerline, so the existing garage would need to be 75 ft from the centerline to get a
12 ft addition). If it's staying in the same location then he would need to apply for a variance to expand the
garage towards the road.
Thanks,
Jason Towne
2
