,
Final Stipulated Line
Location: NW'/4-SE'/4, Section 13, T41 N, R15W
For: Bill Trulsen
SURVEYOR'S NOTES:
I.) This survey monuments and updates the description of the lines stipulated in the "Stipulation and
Judgement"recorded as Document No. 355535 and referred to as the "Reference Line". The description
is updated hereon to incorporate the monuments placed in my final survey of said "Reference Line".
2.) After discussing the situation with my client, Mr. Trulsen, it would appear to me that the problems
here arose due to a difference between the described division of the East and West halves of the "forty"
and the location determined by measuring the shore and splitting the shoreline in half. According to Mr.
Trulsen, Mr. Bonney and Mr. Trulsen measured the shore at the time the land was originally purchased
from L.G. Johnson and split it, by agreeing to a point on the shore that was marked by a 1 inch iron pipe
monument. This marker was shown to me by Mr. Trulsen and is the 1 inch iron pipe monument that I
found 23f' from the shore.
3.) To further complicate the issue, the Anthony Thousand Certified Survey Maps(Volume 2, page 267
and 268)did not address these issues. It appears that the Thousand lots were not staked at the highway
and did not properly establish the highway right-of-way. This leaves some question as to the precise
location of the lots of the Thousand survey. Mr. Trulsen pointed out the markers for the east line of the
"forty" as pointed out by L.G. Johnson when they purchased the land. Using these, I have recontructed
the Thousand survey and believe that it is correct as it fits the monuments found along the lake for CSM,
V.2, p.267.
4.) Fawn Lake is not meandered in the original government survey. Title to the lakebed was transferred
to private ownership in the original land patents. Ownership of the lakebed was transferred in the original
split of the "forty" into east half and west half to Bonney and Trulsen. The Thousand CSM does not
address the lakebed.
RE. Lands in the NW'/.-SE'/e, lying west of the reference line are owned by William and Joan Trulsen.
Lands east of the reference line are owned by Roberta Bonney.
REFERENCE LINE DESCRIPTION.
The following series of lines constitute the boundary between owners listed above, located in the
Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter, Section 13, Township 41 North, Range 15 West of the
Fourth Principal Meridian, Town of Swiss, Burnett County, Wisconsin, more specifically described as
follows:
Commencing at South Quarter Corner of Section 13; thence N30°08'16"E, 1590.42 feet to the Point
of Begininng of the Reference Line, said point being located at the intersection of the West Line of
Lot 2 of Burnett County Certified Survey Map, Volume 2, page 267 with the North Line of the
Right-of-Way of State Trunk Highway 77(this point falls in a swamp and is witnessed by 1" iron
pipe monument lying S02°01'58"W, 25.00 feet from said Point of Beginning);
thence NO2°01'58"E(along the West Line of said Lot 2, recorded as NO1°27'14"E), 663.67 feet to a
1 inch iron pipe monument;
thence continuing NO2°01'58"E, 108.24 feet to a 1 inch iron pipe monument(Total length of this
line is 771.91 feet);
thence N43°06'41"E, 47.47 feet to a I inch iron pipe monument;
thence N2]'03'1 8"E, 69.90 feet to a 1 inch iron pipe monument;
thence continuing N21°03'18"E, 20.0 feet to a point near the Ordinary High Water Mark of Fawn
Lake(Total length of this line is 89.90 feet) ;
thence North, 283.2 feet, more or less,to the South Line of the North 100 feet of the Northwest
Quarter of the Southwest Quarter and Point of Termination of said Agreement Line.
SURVEYOR'S CERTIFICATE:
1, Douglas R. Crane, Wisconsin Registered Land Surveyor#1511, hereby certify that at the direction of
Bill Trulsen, I have caused this survey to be completed under my direction; that to the best of my
knowledege and belief,this map is a correct representation of that survey, and that this is a survey of the
reference line described in the Stipulation and Judgement recorded as Document No. 355535. Note that
this map does not meet the requirements of Chapter A-E 7 of Wisconsin Administrative Code as it is a
survey of boundary not an entire parcel.
Douglas K.
