Surface water drainage shall be diverted away from the system area. <br /> 4. The orientation of the mound system must be such that the mound's longest dimension is perpendicular <br /> to the direction of maximum slope. <br /> 5. Abandon failing system per COMM 83.03(2). <br /> • NOTE: A soil absorption system should be designed as long and narrow as possible. This system has a high <br /> linear loading rate of 9.37 gallons per foot. <br /> A copy of the approved plans,specifications and this letter shall be on-site during construction and open to <br /> inspection by authorized representatives of the Department,which may include local inspectors. All permits <br /> required by the state or the local municipality shall be obtained prior to commencement of <br /> construction/installation/operation. <br />
