The new district has no impact on their
current campground operations, current CUP(s), nor the current zoning district.
Note 2: Existing campgrounds that exceed the RR-RC parameters could rezone to the new RR-RC
District, again with no impact on operations or CUP(s), i.e., their campground would be grandfathered in as
a legal, non-conforming use. Said campground would not; however, be allowed to expand.
Note 3: Existing campgrounds that are below the RR-RC parameters could rezone to the new RR-RC
District, also with no impact on operations or CUP(s); however, if below the RR-RC parameters, these
campgrounds could expand to the allowable limits.
Note 4: Because the RR-RC District is new, all campgrounds (new or existing) should adhere to the above
parameters. Adherence to one standard ensures a fair and level playing field for ALL campgrounds—new,
existing, or seeking expansion - no matter how large or how small.
