<br /> residence and the accessory buildings or uses customarily incidental to it.
<br /> (3) BOATHOUSE: Any structure located on the same lot as the principal
<br /> building and used for with a residence.
<br /> (4) BUILDING: Any structure used, designed or intended for the protection,
<br /> shelter, or roofed enclosure of persons, animals, or property.
<br /> (5) BUILDING, HEIGHT OF: The vertical distance measured from the
<br /> average elevation of the proposed finished grade at the front of the building
<br /> to the highest point of the roof for flat roofs, to the deck line of mansard
<br /> roofs, and to the mean height between eaves and ridge for gable, hip and
<br /> gambrel roofs.
<br /> (6) CAMPING GROUND: A parcel of land used or intended to be used, let or
<br /> rented for occupancy by campers or for occupancy by or of trailers, tents or
<br /> movable or temporary dwellings, rooms or sleeping quarters of any kind.
<br /> (7) DWELLING: A building designed or used exclusively as the living quarters
<br /> for one or more families. To include site built homes, manufactured
<br /> homes, and modular homes. To include Aresidence@ found herein.
<br /> (8) DWELLING, MULTI-FAMILY: A dwelling or group of dwellings on one plot
<br /> containing separate living units for two or more families, but which may
<br /> have joint services or facilities or both.
<br /> (9) ESSENTIAL SERVICES: Services provided by public and private utilities,
<br /> necessary for the exercise of the principal use or service of the principal
<br /> structure. These services include underground, surface, or overhead
<br /> gas, electrical, steam, water, sanitary sewerage, storm water drainage,
<br /> and communication systems and accessories thereto, such as poles,
<br /> towers, wires, mains, drains, vaults, culverts, laterals, sewers, pipes, catch
<br /> basins, water storage tanks, conduits, cables, fire alarm boxes, police call
<br /> boxes, traffic signals, pumps, lift stations, and hydrants, but not including
<br /> buildings. Solid waste compactor roll offs multi-compartment recycling
<br /> units, and similar equipment used for solid waste collection and recycling,
<br /> excluding buildings. All zoning district setback requirements shall apply,
<br /> except that they must be at least 100 feet from any navigable body of water
<br /> or well. Screening may be required where it is deemed necessary by the
<br /> Zoning Administrator or Zoning Committee. All units or receptacles shall
<br /> be leak proof and maintained in good working condition. They shall also
<br /> be secured with covers and be lockable if kept outside of buildings to
<br /> prevent use when attendants are not on duty. Leased parcels, without
<br /> buildings, shall not be subject to minimum lot size requirements, but must
<br /> be at least one (1) acre in size and allow compliance with all setback
<br /> requirements.
