Burnett County Gvt Center
7410 County Rd K#120
Siren,WI 54872
18March2023
Mark McPhail (Family Revoc Living Trust)
7437 Walnut Grove Lane N
Maple Grove, MN 55311
To Zoning Administration:
First, I apologize for my lack of knowledge on the land use rules and have enclosed the necessary fees.
Please understand I treated this project as a like for like property a hange. if you look at the 2020 a
fabric storage shelter had fallen into disrepair and was an eyesore for the property. So I decided to add
an open lean-to onto the shed to replace the loss of function from the original structure. The lean-to is
actually smaller in size. My mistake was not understanding that an open structure would still be under
land use permitting requirements.
Second,to clear up the Land Use permit. I have returned your overhead pictures as proof of compliance
with setback rules. You can see it has a greater setback than the cabin to the property line. The lean-to
structure is 16'x 10'. It is open on 2 sides and is exclusively used to store outdoor items. It is not
habitable and has no services to it.
I hope this information clears up the matter. Thank you for your understanding
Mark McPhail
