Since the <br /> project cost is less than $125,000 and project area is less than 5 acres, the <br /> project satisfies our technical assistance criteria. <br /> A 100 year flood elevation (948.7 MSL) has been established for the bridge <br /> identified on the permit application as Conners Bridge. Since the proposed <br /> site is approximately 1/4 mile downstream from the bridge, this elevation can <br /> be used for this site. I suggest that you request the applicant to provide <br /> you with some Spot elevations at the site (tied to Mean Sea Level) to <br /> determine whether a land use permit can be issued based on what they are <br /> proposing. <br /> You should be aware that an engineering analysis directly at the site probably <br /> would result in a Regional Flood Elevation (RFE) slightly lower (probably less <br /> than 6 inches) than the 948.7 MSL RFE at the bridge.
