Beseony <br /> 397 Secrerery <br /> Cumberland, WI 54829 <br /> November 13, 1989 3-NW-89-72125 <br /> • Mr. John Sinning <br /> 25 McClellan Blvd. <br /> Davenport, IA 52803 <br /> Dear Mr. Sinning: <br /> Re: Repair of boathouse on Birch Island Lake, Burnett County <br /> The Department has examined the proposed maintenance and repair of the <br /> boathouse owned by you, located in Government Lot 8, SE4 SE4, of Section 18, <br /> T40N, R14W, Town of Scott, Burnett County. <br /> Section 30.121, Statutes, allows the maintenance and repair of boathouses <br /> where the cost does not exceed 508 of the current value of the structure. <br /> The information which you have submitted establishes the current value of the <br /> boathouse at $4,000.00. The estimate for repairs is $1,845.00. <br /> The Department hereby certifies that the cost of the proposed maintenance and <br /> repair does not exceed 508 of the boathouse's current value. <br /> This approval allows only the needed repair to the boathouse and does not <br /> preclude the necessity of obtaining permits for work authorized under <br /> Chapters 30 and 31, Wisconsin Statutes (see attached permit information <br /> sheet) . <br /> Permits may be required from other local units of government. Please contact <br /> the Burnett County Zoning Administrator, the Town of Scott and the U.S. Army <br /> Corps of Engineers before starting construction. <br /> Please notify Larry Damman, DNR, Box 397, Cumberland, WI 54829 (715-822-3590) <br /> prior to the start of construction and again upon completion of the project, <br /> so that any necessary inspections may be made. <br />
