The building appears to be so <br /> dilapidated that it may be in danger of imminent collapse. Also absent are any signs of <br /> an effort to protect the public from danger by barricading, posting, fencing off or <br /> Home Health Care boarding up the openings to the structure. <br /> The Burnett County Ordinance No 91-1, An ordinance dealing with health and <br /> Job Center environmental hazards declares that a dwelling or structure"which is so damaged, <br /> decayed, dilapidated, unsanitary, unsafe or vermin-infected that it creates a serious <br /> Mental Health/AODA hazard to the health or safety of the occupants or of the public' "shall be condemned as <br /> unfit for human habitation and shall be so designated." Also, the ordinance also states <br /> that"failure to maintain property so as to avoid health and safety hazards" shall be <br /> Public Health "declared a public nuisance affecting health." <br /> Therefore,the structure located at 29251 Pine Knoll Lane is hereby declared to be both <br /> WIC 1), a public nuisance and 2), condemned as unfit for human habitation. Based on the <br /> requirements of Burnett County Ordinance No 91-1, you must terminate or abate this <br /> public nuisance by the taking the following actions within thirty(30) days of receipt of <br /> this notice or August 1, 2005: <br /> 1. Immediately posting the property to wam the public from approaching or <br /> entering the structure. <br /> 2. Immediately securing the structure by barricading the open doors and windows. <br /> 3. Razing the structure and removing all debris, power lines, plumbing, and filling <br /> all excavations. <br /> Failure to abate or remove the public nuisance will result in actions as specified in <br /> Burnett County Ordinance No 91-1 which is enclosed.
