According to Burnett County records, Robert Rath owns the property. <br /> Based on the complaint, mixed debris, cardboard, and metal waste was burned in a trench on the <br /> property. The department has documentation showing this waste in a trench on the property. <br /> Please be advised that burning solid waste is not allowed under Wisconsin Law unless a person <br /> has been issued a department approval, license, or qualifies for an exemption. Based on the <br /> complaint information and a review of department records, no approval or license has been issued for <br /> this activity on this site, nor does this site qualify for an exemption. According to ch. NR 429.04 and NR <br /> 502.11, Wis. Adm. Code, residents are prohibited from burning solid waste materials such as those <br /> listed in the complaint and below. <br /> Burning these materials releases harmful toxins into the environment. This may create a health hazard <br /> and nuisance for you and your neighbors. <br /> DO NOT BURN:• wet or dry garbage • metal (including wire) <br /> • appliances • siding of all types <br /> • plastics • composite wood (plywood or particle board) <br /> • furniture • painted or treated wood <br /> • insulation • other waste materials <br /> • rubber products <br /> Next Steps <br /> Based on the complaint, these alleged activities occurred at your property. The following steps will <br /> ensure compliance with Wisconsin's open burning and solid waste laws: <br /> • Immediately stop and refrain from burning solid waste. <br /> • Remove and dispose of all the remaining debris and ash from the property at a <br /> department approved or licensed solid waste facility.
