Burnett County Zoning Administration
Burnett County Government Center
7410 County Road K,#102
Siren,WI 54872
Re: Patrias Residence
28234 Tollander Ext
Johnson Lake
Oakland Township
Attn Keith:
As discussed in April, attached is a top and side view of the stairs that I would like to put in at our lake
place on Johnson Lake. Over the past two years we have been able too use a walking path that traversed
my neighbors property. This came to light after we had Wagner survey stake our property lines. I don't
want to intrude on his property.
The stairs are necessary as the lowest degree slope to the lake is about 30-35%. I have small children and
elderly parents and this is to difficult for them to walk. Also,it will rip up the natural grass and bushes in
the sandy soil.
The stairs will be 12 feet long and will have a 18"run x 6"drop to accommodate the slope. Give the low
degree,I do not think rails will be necessary right now. All materials will be cedar. No excavation, with
the exception of footings will take place. All lakeshore will remain natural and unaffected.
Please let me know if the information and drawings are sufficient. I have enclosed a$25 check per the
requirements and will follow up in the next two weeks. My hope is to do the stairs over Memorial weekend
so I can enjoy the rest of the summer!
I can be reached at the following numbers if you have any questions.
Home: 651-688-9217
Work: 612-359-3721
Thanks for you help.
Best regards, ldo--
Jeff Pairias
Ps Sorry I did not catch your last name on the telephone call.
