BURNETT COUNTY <br /> LAND SERVICES DEPARTMENT <br /> f Z 7410 County Road K,#120 <br /> Siren,WI 54872 <br /> Telephone: (715)349-2109 <br /> our07 landservices(abumettcountywi.gov <br /> www.bumetteount3yi.gov <br /> FINAL NOTICE OF VIOLATION <br /> January 20, 2025 <br /> William and Kathleen Olson <br /> 30734 Bradshaw Rd <br /> Danbury,WI 54830 <br /> I am writing to notify you of a violation for the Short-Term Rental of your property at 30734 Bradshaw Rd in Danbury, <br /> WI. <br /> Under Section 30-455 of the Burnett County Code of Ordinances "Any person who maintains,manages,or operates a short- <br /> term rental,as defined in Wis.Stats.66.0615(1)(dk),for more than ten nights each year shall obtain a Short-Term Rental License <br /> from the county." <br /> This requires you to obtain a county license number, by filling out the attached Short-Term Rental application and <br /> turning it in to Burnett County Land Services. <br /> You will also need a state license number for the Short-Term Rental License through the Department of Agriculture, <br /> Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP). Under chapter 97.605 of DATCP(1)(a) "No person may conduct,maintain, <br /> manage or operate a hotel,tourist rooming house,vending machine commissary or vending machine if the person has not been <br /> issued an annual license by the department or by a local health department that is granted agent status under s.97.615(2)." <br /> DATCP can be contacted at 608-224-4923 or datcpdfslicensing@wisconsin.pov <br /> Additionally,the sanitary system is only sized for 6 people,yet it is being advertised for 10 people.You are unable to <br /> advertise for more than the amount of people the septic system is sized for. <br /> I have included a license application that you must submit by 3/15/2025 if you intend to continue renting the property <br /> on a short-term basis. If we do not hear from you by this date a citation can follow if proper permitting is not done. <br /> If you have questions please contact our department.
