I have <br /> included a license application that you must submit by 1/6/2023 if you intend to continue to rent these properties on a <br /> short-term basis.A citation can and will follow if proper permitting is not done. <br /> Under Section 30-455 of the Burnett County Code of Ordinances "Any person who maintains,manages,or operates a short- <br /> term rental,as defined in Wis.Stats. 66.0615(1)(dk),for more than ten nights each year shall obtain a Short-Term Rental License <br /> from the county." <br /> This requires you to obtain a county license number, by filling out the attached Short-Term Rental application and <br /> turning it in to Burnett County Land Services. <br /> You will also need a state license number for the Short-Term Rental License through the Department of Agriculture, <br /> Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP).
