See below <br /> letters 1c. and 1k. from the Licensing Requirements. <br /> c. State license, as defined in State Statute 97.01(15k), shall be obtained and presented to the Land Services <br /> Department prior to obtaining county license. Contact the Wisconsin Dept. of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer <br /> Protection for state licensing details. Phone: 608-224-4923 <br /> k.Applicant shall provide a document that outlines rental guidelines. Items to be included in the rental <br /> guidelines are: occupancy limit, parking requirements,garbage collection/service, local contact name with phone <br /> number, emergency contact information (911, police,fire, etc), state license#with state contact information, county <br /> contact information and a blank area for the county license number. <br /> Please send us copies of your State License and Rental Guidelines by 6/30/2025 and then we will work on processing <br /> your STIR applications from 2023(check#2146)&2024(check#2251). <br /> Under Section 30-455 of the Burnett County Code of Ordinances "Any person who maintains,manages,or operates a short- <br /> term rental,as defined in Wis.Stats. 66.0615(l)(dk),for more than ten nights each year shall obtain a Short-Term Rental License <br /> from the county." Per the Licensing Requirements on page 2 of the application this license must be renewed annually if <br /> you plan to continue renting. <br /> I have included a Short-Term Rental License Application that you must submit by 6/30/2025 if you intend to continue <br /> renting the property on a short-term basis. The renewal cost for 2025 will be $150. Also,when submitting the STR <br /> application, please include a copy of your state license and rental guidelines. We will need these every year with your <br /> application. <br /> If you have any questions please contact our office. Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm. <br />
