' landservices(&bumettcountywi.gov <br /> www.bumettcountyEi.gov <br /> NOTICE OF VIOLATION <br /> January 41h, 2024 <br /> Ashley Kowarsch <br /> 6315 242"d Ave NE <br /> Linwood, MN 55079 <br /> 1 am writing to notify you of a violation for the Short-Term Rental of your property at 6557 Griff Lane in <br /> Danbury, W1. <br /> Under Section 30-455 of the Burnett County Code of Ordinances "Any person who maintains,manages,or <br /> operates a short-term rental, as defined in Wis.Stats. 66.0615(1)(dk),for more than ten nights each year shall <br /> obtain a Short-Term Rental License from the county." <br /> This requires you to obtain a county license number, by filling out the attached Short-Term Rental <br /> application and turning it in to Burnett County Land Services. <br /> You will also need a state license number for the Short-Term Rental License through the Department of <br /> Agriculture,Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP). Under chapter 97.605 of DATCP (1)(a) "No person <br /> may conduct,maintain,manage or operate a hotel,tourist rooming house,vending machine commissary or <br /> vending machine if the person has not been issued an annual license by the department or by a local health <br /> department that is granted agent status under s.97.615(2)." <br /> DATCP can be contacted at 608-224-4923 or datcpdfslicensing@wisconsin.gov <br /> Additionally,the sanitary system is only sized for 4 people,yet it is being advertised for 8 people.You <br /> are unable to advertise for more than the amount of people the septic system is sized for. <br /> I have included a license application that you must submit by 2/15/2024 if you intend to continue <br /> renting the property on a short-term basis. <br /> If you have questions please contact our department.
