^4` BURNE77 COUNTY <br /> LAND SERVICES DEPARTMENT <br /> 7410 County Road K,#120 <br /> Siren,WI 54872 <br /> �ounnv Telephone: (715)349-2109 <br /> landservices(a,,bumettcountywi.gov <br /> www.bumettcountyffi.gov <br /> NOTICE OF VIOLATION <br /> January 5, 2024 <br /> Brian & Stacy Haugen <br /> 14050 49011 St. <br /> Pine Island, MN 55963 <br /> 1 am writing to notify you of a violation for the Short-Term Rental of your property at 1384 Cty <br /> Rd E in Spooner, WI. <br /> Under Section 30-455 of the Burnett County Code of Ordinances "Any person who maintains, <br /> manages,or operates a short-term rental,as defined in Wis.Stats. 66.0615(1)(dk),for more than ten nights each <br /> year shall obtain a Short-Term Rental License from the county." <br /> This requires you to obtain a county license number, by filling out the attached Short-Term <br /> Rental License Application and turning it in to Burnett County Land Services. <br /> You will also need a state license number for the Short-Term Rental License through the <br /> Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP). Under chapter 97.605 of <br /> DATCP(1)(a) "No person may conduct,maintain,manage or operate a hotel, tourist rooming house,vending <br /> machine commissary or vending machine if the person has not been issued an annual license by the department <br /> or by a local health department that is granted agent status under s.97.615(2)." <br /> DATCP can be contacted at 608-224-4923 or datcpdfslicensing@wisconsin.gov <br /> I have included a Short-Term Rental License Application that you must submit by 2/15/2024 if <br /> you intend to continue renting the property on a short-term basis. <br /> If you have any questions please contact our office.
