Geoffrey Hicks explained that he and his brother Curtis Hicks own Northwoods Equipment, LLC and would like to be able to service tractors and equipment. There would be some storage. The Town of Scott is in support of this request. Public hearing open. There were no public comments. Public hearing closed. Chairman Conroy stated the business is mostly in the south half of the property but it would make sense to rezone the north half also. They will address the sanitary system during the Conditional Use Permit. CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT #CUP-25-17 — HICKS Public notice is hereby given to all persons in the Town of Scott, Burnett County, Wisconsin, that Geoffrey Allen Hicks has made an application for a conditional use permit per the terms of the Burnett County Land Use and Shoreland Protection Code of Ordinances to operate an equipment sales and service facility, on the parcel with addresses 1477 and 1480 Kessler Rd, in the A-2 zoning district, located in the W Y2 of the SE 1/4 of the SE 1/4, Section 2, T4ON, R14W. Note: Rezone request MAP-25-06 goes along with this request. Geoffrey Hicks stated they would not be building any buildings. Chairman Conroy mentioned they should confine the business to the south of the road. Supervisor Karen Laqua Anderson questioned if equipment would be stored inside or outside. Mr. Hicks stated the equipment would be stored mostly inside but might have some outside.
