Burnett County Zoning Administra "o Q FlI
BURNETT COUNTY GOVERNMENT CENTER
7410 County Road K, #102 Phone (715) 349-2138
Siren, Wisconsin 54872
November 1, 1994
Ed Peterson
5952 Devils Lake Road
Webster, WI 54893
Dear Ed:
Sorry it took so long on the Bill Swanson application on Lake 26.
Dan visited the site on 8/3/94 and found the setbacks different than shown on
the application. He also found the at-grade slab to be less than 40 feet to the
ordinary high water mark.
I inspected the site on 10/28/94 and also found the slab in front of the cabin
to be less than 40 feet to the ordinary high water mark. It appeared to me that
this structure was built some time ago as a bunk house. The adjoining dwelling
seems to meet or exceed the required setback. This structure and boathouse sit
right down by the water and are not screened from the lake.
Because the setback is too close to the ordinary high water mark, the deck could
not be allowed. The screen porch may be allowed if it would meet the 5010' rule.
Please contact me regarding this application.
Sincerely,
(JwL
Jim Flanigan
Zoning Administrator
JF
