The screened in area cannot go any closer to the <br /> ordinary high water mark of the lake than the existing deck, nor may any other <br /> structure be located closer than 75 feet to the ordinary high water mark of the <br /> lake. <br /> Also as we discussed before, the deck down by the lakeshore is in violation of <br /> the setback. This type of structure does require a permit and would not have <br /> been allowed. We can issue a permit for stairways and one landing not to exceed <br /> 40 square feet in size. <br /> Enclosed is a handout which goes over the stairway and landing criteria.
