It appears, <br /> however, that the defendant focuses on two main issues; <br /> 1. First, that Burnett County is a private corporation and therefore lacks authority to <br /> enforce its sewer ordinance against him; and <br /> 2. Secondly, the defendant alleges that the land he owns an interest in was granted by <br /> U.S. Patent to a previous owner and therefore is not subject to any regulations <br /> regarding the use thereof by the State of Wisconsin or it's subdivisions. <br /> It should be noted that he cites no authority for either of the positions set forth <br /> above; and the defendant is incorrect regarding both issues. <br /> 1 <br />
