Walls for landscaping,patios, or other ornamental purpose cannot be <br /> permitted. <br /> In reviewing your application,an onsite inspection was done. This inspection <br /> found the proposed wall would not be-necessary for erosion control. If you wish <br /> to remove the vertical logs, some additional fill can be placed in the area to <br /> establish a gradual slope, which can be seeded or sodded. With a grass-vegetated <br /> slope this area will stabilize and prevent erosion. <br /> Because there are options other than the retaining wall, your permit cannot be <br /> issued and is being returned to you. If you decide to place some fill or reslope the <br /> area,please provide plans for approval.
