This will <br /> require a Wisconsin Department of Health and Family Services restaurant permit. <br /> Enclosed are handouts about restaurant/catering requirements for operation. Catering kitchens are considered <br /> restaurants and it is a restaurant permit that is issued. A list of contacts is also enclosed. <br /> Some of the requirements are listed below. These include but are not limited to: <br /> Installation of a complying septic system. <br /> Review of use of the existing system must be completed through the Burnett County Zoning office. <br /> Provide documentation from the Burnett County Zoning office or the state Department of Commerce <br /> (plumbing and building codes)that the septic system is complying. <br /> Installation of an approved grease interceptor. <br /> Required by the state plumbing code. State level plumbing plan approval is required.Work must be <br /> done by a Wisconsin licensed plumber. <br /> Building and fire safety compliance. <br /> Restaurant kitchens are required to meet the state commercial building code.
