Burnett County Zoning Administration
BURNETT COUNTY GOVERNMENT CENTER, ROOM 130
7410 County Road K, #102 Phone(715) 349-2138
Siren, Wisconsin 54872
October 16, 1998
Donald E. Lund
2504 Hayes Court
Burnsville,MN 55337-1020
Dear Mr. Lund:
After the Zoning Committee meeting on 10/6/98, I was directed to use the 40 foot setback
for your dwelling.
This would then allow additions of up to a total of 1500 square feet of living area,
existing and new. It also would only allow 144 square feet of this 1500 square foot total
on the side of the dwelling.
This permit would also require a restoration plan for re-establishing the lakeshore
vegetative buffer zone and the removal of all other nonconforming structures.
In reviewing your last application, you are showing a living area addition of 160 square
feet and also a 160 square foot deck addition. Your drawing shows 1400 square feet of
living area now. This would only allow a 100 square foot addition which would include
the deck.
Enclosed is a variance application. As the Zoning Committee directed, anything over the
standard allowed addition would require a variance review.
Please contact me if you have any additional questions.
Sincerely,,
Jim Flanigan
Zoning Administrator
JF:sm
Enc.
