DaRonco, Jonna
From: dmbarthol@comcast.net
Sent: Tuesday, August 30, 20119:02 AM
To: Dennis Quinn; Zoning
Cc: Bob Steigauf
Subject: Barthol Property, 27484 Reitz Rd., Final Inspection Report From Dennis Quinn Dated 8/15/11....
Attachments: Inspection Report.pdf
To: Dennis Quinn, Uniform Dwelling Code Inspector
Jim Flanigan, Burnett County Zoning Administrator
Hi Dennis & Jim,
We are writing to follow up with you regarding the attached, final inspection report that Dennis Quinn mailed
to us. In that report, Dennis listed 2 concerns: 1. Maintain erosion control measures until site stabilized. 2.
Seal penetration of exterior wall into crawl space at gas piping from regulator. With regard to number 1., we
want to let you know that we will be keeping all of the silt fensing on our property in place throughout the
winter and the erosion blankets are down and grass is growing now throughout our lot, so that should take
care of that. Please let us know immediately if there is anything more that we need to do above and beyond
that. With regard to number 2., 1 caulked and sealed the entry point of the gas piping into our building. If
you find that more needs to be done regarding the sealing around the gas pipe, also, please let me know
that immediately. Otherwise, if we don't hear back from Dennis, it is our impression that the two issues that
Dennis listed on his final inspection report are adequately taken care of.
Also, I did speak to Jim Flanigan on August 15th. Jim told me that he is closing out our file, that he checked
out our property a few days earlier, and everything looked good on our property related to the landscaping
that we had done, and our erosion control, etc. I also asked Jim about what ever happened with the grading
permit that we applied for, and Jim stated that he received our check, but somehow our application went
missing, so, Jim told me to get a new application emailed to us from Jonna DaRonco, and as soon as we
completed it and returned it, the grading permit would be mailed to us. That all worked out too, because we
got the application we needed and completed it and returned it to Jonna and we did receive the grading
permit in the mail a few weeks ago. So, that was the last thing that we had to sew up regarding our zoning
issues and it is our understanding that Jim Flanigan closed out our file now. If there is anything else that we
need to be aware of from you, Jim, please let us know immediately, otherwise, we are of the impression that
all our issues are cleared up.
Thanks Dennis and Jim. Please contact us if you have any questions.
Dan & Mary Barthol
cc: Robert Steigauf, Sjoberg & Tebelius, P.A.
i
