G. <br /> Maxwell in 1913 is assumed to bear EAST. <br /> (2) The areas shown for lots one , two and three are computed to the <br /> meander line of Yellow Lake . The area between the meander line of lot <br /> number one and Yellow Lake is approximately 10 ,500 square feet . The <br /> area between the meander line of lot number two and Yellow Lake is <br /> approximately 10 ,000 square feet . The area between the meander line <br /> of lot number three and Yellow Lake is approximately 11 ,000 square <br /> feet . <br /> (3) The cut stones found, the concrete post , and the 1-3/4 inch ID <br /> iron pipe found are being accepted as marking the original locations <br /> of lot corners in Jensen's Lakeshore Division of Yellow Lake . In <br /> Maxwell 's 1913 plat he does not explain what monuments were set for <br /> lot corners. The presumption is being made that the lot coners were <br /> marked by Surveyor Maxwell since the purpose of the survey was to <br /> create lots. These markers do not contradict specifications for <br /> monumentation found in Chapter 101 of the 1911 State Statutes and they <br /> fit plat data reasonably well so as to make me believe they are <br /> correct . <br /> (4) The northeast corner of lot number three could not be found. It <br /> was not reset by proportionate methods since this method is usually <br /> used to distribute small discrepancies in measurements. I believe <br /> Maxwell made a mathematical error when he computed the length of the <br /> north lines of lots 34 and 35, Block 10 .
