PRIVATE ONSITE WASTEWATER TREATMENT SYSTEM MANAGEMENT PLAN <br /> SEPTIC TANK AND GRAVITY IN-GROUND SOIL ABSORPTION COMPONENT <br /> Pursuant to Comm. 83.54 Wis. Adm. Code each Private Onsite Wastewater Treatment System (POWTS) <br /> shall include information and procedures for maintaining the system within the parameters of Comm. 83 <br /> and 84, and the conditions of approval by the department, agent, or governmental unit. The approved <br /> plans and permits for system is on file at the county zoning office. <br /> This management plan complies with Comm. 83.54, Wis. Adm. One large dose when the power comes on or when the pump is repaired <br /> may cause the soil absorption component to have problems. In this situation, the pump <br /> I chamber should be pumped by a licensed pumper before pump cycling begins or other <br /> measures shall be used to dose the mound component with only the proper amount of <br /> influent. This may include manual operation of the pump controls until such time the pump <br /> chamber has reached its normal level.
