Wisconsin 54872 <br /> Dear Mr. Flanagan: <br /> The Bureau of Land Management is proposing to sell a parcel of land in Oakland <br /> Township described as follows: T.40N. , R. 16W. , Section 34. Government Lot #1 , 4th <br /> P.M. , Wisconsin. It is a 0.54 acre. triangular shaped parcel of land which was once <br /> patented to the Wisconsin Department of Conservation, but reverted back to Federal <br /> ownership. Burnett County later applied for a patent . but withdrew their <br /> application about one year ago. The only access to this parcel is through Kulbeck <br /> Park or private property(Lot #13) to the west . <br /> Mrs. Joanne Rudy, owner of lot #13, has expressed interest in purchasing this <br /> parcel . Two questions are pertinent in appraising this parcel : <br /> 1. Would it be possible for the purchaser to obtain an easement for access <br /> across a portion of the Kulbeck Park property' <br /> 2. Could the purchaser obtain a permit to build on this triangular shaped <br /> parcel^: <br /> The answers to either or both questions could determine the method of sale that we <br /> can use. The modified competitive method will allow public bidding with the <br /> adjoining owner having the right to meet the high bid. The other method to consider <br /> is a direct sale to the adjoining owner. <br /> If you can answer these questions please do so. If not , could you refer them Lo <br /> someone who can?
