RICHARD HOPKINS Page 2 4/10/01 <br /> • This approval does not include plans for the general plumbing systems or sewer piping leading to the <br /> septic/holding tank that may be required for this project. See section COMM 82.20, Wis.Adm. Code,to <br /> determine if plan submittal and approval is required. <br /> • Maintain well and waterline set backs per COMM 83.43(8)(i). <br /> • The designer proposes to install an outlet filter to achieve the requirement of wastewater particle size. <br /> Maintenance information must be given to the owner of the tank explaining that periodic cleaning of the septic <br /> tank outlet filter will be required. The outlet filter shall be installed per product approval stipulations. <br /> • The maintenance plan must be expanded to include a maintenance schedule for the pump chamber(i.e.servicing <br /> [pumping]and inspection of tank and wiring,etc.). <br /> • Supply duplex pumps with duplex controls. <br /> • Turn up ells with valves and valve boxes or other means of flushing the lines shall be provided. <br /> • Holes must be drilled with sharp bit and all burrs and foreign matter removed before installation. <br /> • The changes made to this plan on 4/10/01 by this reviewer were acknowledge and approved by the system <br /> designer. <br /> NOTE: This mound is designed to dose one half the cells at a time,alternating with the other half. The pumps shall <br /> be installed so that if one pump fails,the remaining pump will continue to pump. The owner must be advised that if <br /> the alarm goes off,a plumber must be contacted immediately as the portion of the distribution cell that is being <br /> pumped to will quickly become over loaded. <br /> 1 <br /> A copy of the approved plans,specifications and this letter shall be on-site during construction and open to <br /> inspection by authorized representatives of the Department,which may include local inspectors.
