Sachleben: - <br /> Attached is- our application for a construction .permit and our <br /> check for $55.00. - <br /> This letter and the enclosures' will also provide you with some <br /> detail regarding our plans. <br /> The survey shows the land which my wife and I have just <br /> purchased. The road, as shown on the diagram, has already been <br /> - cut. The road .builder tells us that you are aware of this new <br /> road and that it satisfies all requirements of law. - - <br /> Now we would like to build a two-story building on the land as <br /> shown on the diagram. The building dimensions -will be 35 feet �by , <br /> 52 feet. Because of the topography, we would like to make ther <br /> lower level a walk-out facing -the lake. Otherwise, in`ordeto <br /> _ get the necessary square feet, we would either have.tobuild two - - <br /> - ' stories above ground (whichwould give it a very high profile on <br /> _ the hill as viewed from the lake) or double the land coverage on <br /> a single level- (which would mean taking out a lot of' the . <br /> beautiful trees) . <br /> However, in order to make- the walk-out work, we can barely. - <br /> satisfy the 75-foot set back requirement. Depending onhow you _ <br /> _ measure it (whether- theshoreline muck, is considered land or - - <br /> lake, andexactlywhere on the curved shore you -hold the tape - - <br /> measure) , the building will be either slightly more or slightly <br /> _ less than 7.5 feet from the lake. Due to the unique topography <br /> (which has a high bank by the lake but which actually falls away -' <br /> from the lake on the other side of . the bank) , -the building must <br /> - _ <br /> set just where indicated or else the. walk-out will not work. <br /> The cornets of the Building are now staked on the site. If you - <br /> think it is-necessary or desireable at this early stage to.look <br /> at it, .please stop by and view the entire setting to see if it is <br /> acceptable. The front five -feet (within- the stakes and string)' <br /> will be outdoor deck area. - - <br /> The building will be constructedof double-wall cedar (per - - _ <br /> _ enclosed description) with cedar shake roof.
