I also verified setback form the wetland Easterly of the proposed building site. <br /> Due to the presence of a couple of large stumps, tree tops, etc. it was difficult to <br /> ascertain the setback from the point closest to the proposed structure. Woody <br /> debris placed into a wetland constitutes fill,just as sand would, and must be <br /> removed. My best estimate is that the comer of the proposed building was in the <br /> 37 to 38 foot range. I will revisit the site after you've had the opportunity to <br /> remove the debris, and confirm the 40-foot wetland setback. <br /> At this time, we are returning the Land Use Permit Application, pending the <br /> determination of the Base Flood Elevation for North Sand Lake. <br /> If you have any questions, or need assistance with this matter, contact this office <br /> anytime. <br /> Since <br /> Craig onroy <br /> Assistant Zoning Administrator <br />
