(SACN) D ECOVE Jim Harrison 0 C T 17 201/16 PO Box 114 Danbury, Wisconsin 54830-0114 BURNETT,COUNTY ZONING RE: SACN 36-112D Dear Mr. Harrison: We received your request and plans for construction of a 45' x 26' pole barn on your property located in Swiss Township, Section 28, Township 41 N, Range 16 W, Burnett County, Wisconsin along the St. Croix River (PID 07-032-2-41-16-28-1 02-000-012150 ). This property is encumbered with a National Park Service scenic easement and we refer to the property as government tract SACN 36-112D. Based upon a site visit and a review of the plans you have provided us, we believe this project is permissible under the terms of the easement presently in effect on your property. While the location chosen for the pole barn is not visible from the river, the use of earth tone or summer vegetation colors for all trim, roof, and siding is recommended. Any necessary removal of vegetation will be limited to that which is required for the immediate placement of the new structures. These measures will ensure that the project will not have a visual impact on the St. - -- --- Croix River now or in the future. While permission is granted from the National Park Service to proceed with your project, you should note that our approval of this project is contingent upon your compliance with other applicable land use controls as required by the easement. It in no way evaluates the merits of the project in relation to local, county or state zoning, and thus does not preclude or supersede any actions by those units of government. Therefore, you need to comply with any land use controls or requirements of Swiss Township, Burnett County, and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources,to whom copies of this letter are being sent.
