These <br /> letters are used to reference those monuments in the following notes. <br /> 1 . Point A is assumed to be the iron monument set by Darius Connor as recorded <br /> in Field Book 10, pages 37-39 (1925) . It is also assumed that the West Line of <br /> Certified Survey Map, Vol. 4, p.30-32 is the west line of a parcel described in <br /> Quit Claim Deed, recorded in Vol. 68, p.278-279 ( 1937) . The lines of my <br /> survey from Point A to Point B are assumed to be this line. <br /> 2. All of Government Lot 2, except that portion of Government Lot 2 lying <br /> South and Southeast of Point A, and that part of Government Lot 3 lying West <br /> of the Town Road (this agrees with Vol. 68, p.278-279) were conveyed to William <br /> and Edith Johnson in a Warranty Deed, recorded in Vol. 55, p.141 (1925) . <br /> A gap in descriptions came about in a Certificate of Termination of Joint <br /> Tenancy, recorded in Vol. U, p.36 (1953) . This description uses an apparent <br /> survey of unknown origin. The lines of this survey (S23°35'1:, 237 .0' and <br /> S20p301W, 180.7' ) do not include the lands to the lakeshore nor do they extend <br /> easterly to Point A. After the metes and bounds description, it further <br /> states: "which was acquired by a Warranty Deed . . . recorded in Volume 55 of <br /> Deeds, page 141 . . ." This Termination of Joint Tenancy was for Edith Johnson <br /> and this description was used to describe the lands that she still owned. Over <br /> the years, the metes and bounds portion of the description only has been used <br /> to describe this property. I feel the intention was to include the lands to <br /> the lakeshore and to include the lands easterly to the line now known as the <br /> West Line of Certified Survey Map, Vol. 4, p.30-32. <br /> 3. The line from Points C to D was established by extending the west line of <br /> Certified Survey Map, Vol. 5, p.279-280. This falls in an old fence line. I <br /> did not attempt to establish the "West Line" referred to in numerous <br /> descriptions in the area. The bearing of this line has been changed to North <br /> 7a East in some of the descriptions, instead of the original wording of North <br /> (Variation 7° East) . The unplatted lands lying west of this survey belong to <br /> the Wilderness Fellowship. Mr. Klawitter. , who has the authority to speak for <br /> the Wilderness Fellowship, has indicated to me that the Wilderness Fellowship <br /> has accepted the lines as they have been staked for the true boundary. <br /> 4. The line from Points E to D was established parallel with the south line of <br /> Certified Survey Map, Vol. 5, p.279-280 from the monument found at Point E. <br /> The calculated perpendicular lot width of the parcel described in Vol. 363, <br /> p.49 is 69.22 feet, based on the description. The monument at Point E is of <br /> unknown origin, but the perpendicular distance from the south line of Certifed <br /> Survey Map, Vol. 5, p.279-280 is 69.45 feet, which confirms the location of the <br /> monument. A 1-1/4" iron pipe was found NO1'23'26"W, 25.12 ft. from Point D. <br /> 5. The line dividing Lots 1 and 2 of my survey does not conform to the <br /> descriptions recorded in Land Contracts recorded in Vol. 374, p.380 and Vol. <br /> 368, p.412, to Richard and Randall Klawitter, respectively. Both parties have <br /> agreed to relocate this dividing line to the location shown on my map. <br /> 6. The area of Lot 2 excluding the area of the town road easement is 64425 sq. <br /> ft. or 1 .48 acres.
