BURNETT COUNTY SURVEYOR'S OFFICE
Gerald E. Wagner
County Surveyor
Courthouse Webster, Wis. 54893
715-866-4295
Grantsburg,Wis.54840 —OR—
715-463-5480 Tuesday — Friday 8:00—5:00
Hours: Monday 12:30—4:30
CERTIFIED SURVEY MAP REVIEW # 635
SURVEYOR: Joseph Stadler
DATED : AUGUST 8, 1985
LOCATION: G.L. 3 & 4 Section 35 T39N-R16W
CLIENT : Arthur Werner
RECEIVED: August 8, 1985
REVIEWED: August 9, 1985
I have reviewed the above captioned C.S.M. and note the following
items:
( 1 ) The total length of the west line is not shown on
the map.
(2) The total length of the east line is not shown on
the map.
(3) The 0, 100' , and 200' dimension is not shown on the
graphic scale.
(4) The h inch margin along the sides and bottom of the
map has been encroached upon by map data.
(5) Chapter 236.34 ( 1 ) (c) : ". . .the map shall be prepared
with a binding margin 1 .5 inches wide and a 0.5 inch
margin on all other sides on durable white paper 82 inches
wide by 14 inches long with non fading black image or
reproduced with photographic silver haloid image on double
mat polyester film of not less than 4 mil thickness
which is 8h inches wide by 14 inches long. . . ." (emphasis
mine) The original map does not appear to have been
prepared on durable white paper. It appears to be a common
grade of copy machine paper. My concern is that this paper
when punched and bound into the C.S.M. books, would not
hold up. Attached hereto find an example of the type of
C.S.M. paper that has been in use and deemed acceptable.
I understand there is urgency in having this map recorded. If so,
I would suggest that:
( 1 ) The map be updated to include the missing data (items 1 ,2 and 3) .
(2) The 2" margin be waived this time.
(3) The map be reproduced using a photographic silver haloid
