Cell—612-221-6633 <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> ATTACHMENT TO CONTRACT <br /> To: Jeff Shandorf and Jim Shandorf Date: 4/15/08 <br /> Re: Cabin Renovation on North Sand Lake <br /> 3888 South Shore Drive <br /> Jackson Township, Wisconsin <br /> We propose to furnish and install material and labor for the above mentioned <br /> project as per plans by Kern Company LLC dated 10/16/07 and revised on 4/14/08 <br /> and as directed by owners. Scope of work as follows: <br /> Demolition: Completely gut entire inside of cabin down to shell (framing) and <br /> dispose. Remove existing windows, exterior doors, siding and roofing on House and <br /> Garage and dispose ( save alum. siding, trim and copper pipes for recycle). Shore <br /> up, cut and remove 30 1/f of concrete block wall facing the lake on the lower level <br /> and dispose. Cut openings in concrete block wall as needed for larger windows and <br /> exterior door at lower level. Remove all finishes at existing deck and screen porch <br /> and save structure. <br /> Rough Carpentry/Framing: Frame 301/1 of wall with 2x10 studs 16' o.c. in place <br /> of removed concrete block wall at lower level as per plans. Shore up existing floor <br /> joists and install new LVL support beam. Add new 2x6 nailed to every existing <br /> floor joist with double joist hangers at LVL. Frame in all window and door <br /> openings as per plans. Frame interior walls as per plans. Furr out lower level <br /> perimeter walls with 2x2 treated studs for rigid insulation. Frame new Entry/ <br /> Portico as per plans. Add new 2x10 treated deck joists to every existing joist and <br /> pitch at ''/x" per ft. Install 3/4" treated plywood roof with rubber membrane. Install <br /> treated sleepers cut at same pitch on top of rubber membrane to level for decking. <br /> Install V2" treated plywood to outside of existing concrete block to flush out with <br /> existing sheathing for installation of siding. Install 2x4 sub facia to existing rafter <br /> tails on house and garage eaves. Install double 2x4 sub rake at gable ends of house <br /> and garage. Install 2x4 lookouts as nailers for soffit plywood on house and garage. <br /> Frame in opening for owner supplied gas fire place. <br />
