ZONING <br /> 27760 Hwy."35" <br /> Webster,WI 54893 <br /> Subject: Concurrence For Non-Domestic Wastewater Connection To Proposed New POWTS For The Main Store -- <br /> Town of Webb Lake,Burnett County,WI <br /> Dear Mr.Daniels: <br /> This concurrenceletter is in response to your transmittal request received by the Department of-Natural Resources on March 24, - — <br /> 2015 for proposed connection of a non-domestic wastewater source to the proposed new private on-site wastewater treatment system <br /> (PQWTS)located in Section 28,T41 N, RI 4W,30328 County Road"H";Town of Webb Lake,Burnett County,Wisconsin to serve the Main <br /> Store. <br /> Based upon the information provided in your transmittal,the proposed new POWTS is sized for a design wastewater flow rate of 429 gallons <br /> per day and will include installation of a 1,000 gallon septic tank with effluent filter and associated 660 square feet subsurface soil absorption <br /> system. The new POWTS will be used to treat combined domestic wastewater from the public/employee restroom facilities and non-domestic <br /> wastewater consisting of used water from a 267 gallon minnow tank. The proposed operation calls for draining and replacement of <br /> approximately 67 gallons(25%)of the used water from the minnow tank at a frequency of once per week with discharge to the proposed <br /> POWTS. <br /> Based on this review,the Department of Natural Resources concurs with the proposal to combine and treat the domestic wastewater and non- <br /> domestic wastewater generated atthis facility via the proposed POWTS. Please note that the owner may also need approval from the local or <br /> county governmental review agencies in addition to the Department of Safety&Professional Services prior to installation of the proposed <br /> POWTS. <br /> In addition,the"owner of the property and POWTS has responsibility for any environmental contamination originating from the property. No <br /> solvents,oil wastes or toxic chemicals may be discharged to the POWTS. Failure to properly manage the POWTS may result in soil or <br /> groundwater contamination or premature system failure.
