(M Vo 1. 21 P8. 110 <br /> REGIS F DEEDS <br /> BURNETT COUNTY CERTIFIED SURVEY MAP NO. 4031 <br /> Surveyor's notes: <br /> 1) The north line of that parcel of land described in Volume 221 of Records, Page 221 is <br /> described as "parallel to the south line of Section 18". The deed, dated December 19, 1966 <br /> appears to have been based on a sketch and description prepared by Herb Johnson in October <br /> 1966. There is no indication from Mr. Johnson's sketch that markers were placed at that time. <br /> In 1997, surveyor Ripley surveyed this parcel. That survey is found in the office of land records <br /> for Burnett County, index number D-1317. Mr. Ripley shows the north line of this parcel <br /> parallel with the south line of Section 18. As part of this survey, Mr. Ripley establishes a new <br /> meander corner on the east shore of Bashaw Lake that appears to be an attempt to replicate Herb <br /> Johnson's work. Mr. Ripley notes on his map "see R.W. Ripley March, 1972 survey"which I <br /> was not able to locate. It is my opinion that the Ripley survey represents the intent of the <br /> conveyance in Volume 221 of Records, Page 221. In 1978 surveyor Richey established a <br /> meander corner on the east shore of Bashaw Lake between Sections 18 & 19. The position of <br /> this meander corner was documented and subsequently filed with Burnett County. Richey's <br /> meander corner and Ripley's meander corner differ in northing by about four feet, in effect <br /> marking two different section lines. I have shown both lines on this survey map for reference. <br /> 2) From the Point of Beginning (P.O.B.) a found 1.05 inch iron pipe bears S89°28'36"W 0.29 <br /> feet. <br /> 3) From Point `A' a found 1.05 inch iron pipe bears N70°27'21"W 7.82 feet. The found 1.05 <br /> inch pipe marks the southeast corner of Lot 4, Certified Survey Map Volume 4, Page 156. <br /> 4) Subsurface and environmental conditions were not surveyed or examined or considered as part <br /> of this survey.
