BURNETT COUNTY
LAND & WATER CONSERVATION DEPARTMENT
7410 County Road K,#109
Siren,WI 54872
Telephone: (715)349-2186 Fax: (715)349-2102
DATE: July 27, 2007
TO: Burnett County Zoning Dept.
FROM: Paul Cook, Conservation Specialist FDf
RE: Doug and Gina Danner, 20646 Sunrise Point, Trade Lake—
Grading/Filling permit
I recently visited this property to look at the need for filling within the shore and zone
and a proposed boulder wall.
The boulder wall proposed near the shoreline or ordinary high water mark w Duld require
a Wisconsin DNR permit and would likely not be permitted, as there is no s oreline
erosion occurring.
The boulders along the drainage will be allowed as well as the boulder wall hat measures
15 feet around the structure for the filling required to raise the structure out f the
floodplain. Please refer to the site plan for where the boulder wall will be al owed.
No amount of fill will be allowed to be placed between the lake and the exis ing boulder
wall. Refer to the enclosed site plan. I've highlighted where the boulder wall will be
allowed. I've also indicated the area proposed to be filled and again, fill wil not be
allowed in this area. This area should be maintained with natural shoreline vegetation
and only a 30 foot wide viewing corridor should be maintained in short law -type grass.
