Krause, a Registered Land Surveyor, hereby certify that pursuant to a request <br /> from AMERICAN INVESTMENT COMPANY, I have caused the hereinafter described lands to be <br /> surveyed and mapped under my direction and supervision; and to my best knowledge and <br /> belief this Certified Survey Map is a true and correct representation of that survey; <br /> THAT the exterior boundary of the land parcel surveyed and mapped is described as <br /> follows: <br /> All of Lots 2 and 3 of Certified Survey Map Volume 151 Pages 144-145, located in <br /> Government Lot 8, Section 13, Township 40 North, Range 15 West, Town of Jackson, County <br /> of Burnett, State of Wisconsin and more particularly described as follows: <br /> Commencing at the Auxiliary Meander Corner being the Point of Beginning; <br /> THENCE N85015111"W 209.55 feet along a meander line of Birch Island Lake; <br /> THENCE S4400911111W 248.59 feet along said meander line to a point on the westerly <br /> line of Lot 2 of Certified Survey Map Volume 15, pages 144-145; <br /> THENCE N36001107"W 205.82 feet along said westerly line to the westerly most corner <br /> of said Lot 2; <br /> THENCE N32005103"E 107.77 feet along the westerly line of said Lot 2; <br /> THENCE S36009111"E 17.40 feet along the easterly line of said Lot 2 to the westerly <br /> most corner of Lot 3 of said Certified Survey Map; <br /> THENCE N35039134"E 76.99 feet along the northerly line of said Lot 3; <br /> THENCE N75008136"E 266.48 feet along said northerly line to A meander line of Birch <br /> Island Lake; <br /> THENCE S31055112"E 251.66 feet along said meander line-to the Point of Beginning. <br /> This parcel contains 63,000 square feet more or less and includes those lands lying <br /> between the Meander Line and the high water line of Birch Island Lake as shown on <br /> the map and is subject to easements and restrictions of record. <br /> THAT such map is a correct representation of all of the exterior boundaries of the land <br /> surveyed and the division thereof; <br /> THAT I have fully complied with the provisions of Chapter 236.34 of the Wisconsin <br /> Statutes in surveying, dividing and mapping the same. <br /> SURVEYOR'S NOTES <br /> 1. This survey is part of Government Lot 8 in Section 13, Township 40 North, Range 15 <br /> West, and is an island. Many surveys (recorded and unrecorded), deeds, and <br /> descriptions have been made through the years on different parts of Government Lot 8 <br /> and some minor discrepancies exist. Also, court cases (Supreme Court) 79 WIS 2nd 289 <br /> (1977) and (Court of Appeals) District III Case 85-0306 (3/18/86) have been concluded <br /> in regard to use of the causeway and access road leading to and adjacent to this <br /> property. <br /> 2. The easement as delineated on Lot 2 of this map is to be in conjunction with the <br /> existing access road adjacent to the North. The total width is not defined. <br /> 3.
